The month of September ended splendidly for Maseno University students. The celebrations on Friday 30/09/16 after elections have never been experienced before in this institution,this;even a class five pupil studying in Maseno University environs can avert.

I have known Fred Makajos since 2012 when we were in high school. It’s in Ringa Boys where we were taught to mettle. Fred Makajos was the then scout’s commander when I was just a scout boy. There, he ruled with total wisdom. While in scout, we attended a quorum in Mombasa and this is where my nickname

Now here we are in Maseno University. Friday 30/09/16 still remains a victorious day in this institution. The elections started at 6am and all the three presidential candidates expected to emerge the victors. Makajos was the chairman of *zagazaga* movement, curiosity began in the morning when the aspirants in zagazaga movement were all way winning. Most of the elder students were right at the Graduation Square entrance in a vehement watch-out, it was Makajos everywhere. The number of students seen voting was a clear show of how comrades were disgruntled with the status quo (current SOMU), the reign I term to be of larcenous prowess. Even the continuing students who are known to be reluctant on election days came out in myriad. After casting their votes, students were seen in entrance of polling station with high expectations, you could only hear 'we want Baba' (The Makajos). It was anomalous to see every aspirant in zagazaga win, a transparent confirmation that this man, Fred Makajos, was the ideal comrades sweetheart.

Zagazaga Movement Aspirants

Most of the aspirants in the zagazaga movement were winning as early as 9am.The Secretary General Elect, Linus Sang won massively like he had no opponent. Let me upset you, all the aspirants in zagazaga movement won even before the official announcement of results. The celebrations started around 5pm, this was abruptly when comrades saw their king Makajos come-hours before official announcement of results. What happened in Maseno University on 30/09/16 is subtle, comrades busted out in shouts to receive their god father.He, Makajos, was grabbed and they even almost demolish him; something that I was very keen on. All the roads promptly became busy in jam; the multitude was headed to main gate. All sorts of dance were present, the retro to be exact.

Makajos was receiving a tight protection from his security officers and any attempt to shake his hands was a nightmare. Even his senior campaigners like John Mark and Abok could not reach him with ease. All operations in the premises changed and this is when administration acknowledged how comrades revered and coveted Makajos, goal goal, I was also elated needless to add. After the peaceful celebration the team went back to hindocha hall where official announcement of results were to take place.

The function was attended with high profile figures including the area OCPD.The area OCPD though, didn’t get incessant time to address the comrades as 'they' were only impassioned to hear from Makajos. The results were amazing, all the zagazaga delegates won with alarming ranges. The electorates appreciated the process and recommended that such was the best they have ever had. Makajos gave out his speech and the next move was to Tsunami hostel platform. As I am busy congratulating Fred Makajos for his victory, I want also to recommend Gideon Wafula and Mike Odoyo (presidential aspirants) for showing intellectualism and not causing any hassle during and after the process. Gideon Wafula is my personal friend only that we disagreed on political regime. You made the process profound brothers, congratulations.

Makajos was then led to tsunami where addressed thousands of comrades. In his speech, he promised comrades of a revamped Maseno University. He said he will fight for comrade's rights and reinstate suspended students. He said that during his reign, comrades will be comrades and not high school students. He promised to take Maseno University to the apogee, reduced destitution rate, release of transcripts to students and "a" Maseno University we want.

The swearing in ceremony will be held on 03/10/16 tomorrow at Graduation Square. Earlier yesterday, we were with Makajos in Antidote hotel planning on KUSO logistics.KUSO is a union catering for all Kenya universities welfare. Kenya Universities Students Organization. In the previous, Makajos had a problem clinching to the KUSO chair since KUSO is only for students leader (by then Fred Makajos was an aspirant) still, he was able to be elected as KUSO secretary general since he has been seen in several occasions fight for comrades rights.

Fred Makajos was there to root out Babu Owino when Babu was arrested for allegedly uttering hate speech.KUSO is chaired by Babu Owino. Since KUSO President Babu Owino will be outgoing due to his East Embakasi MP bid, it’s only natural that Fred Makajos receive the warm endorsement.

I beseech you all delegates of KUSO, that when KUSO elections time come, may you hearken to trumpet blown by the one and only Rt. Hon. Fred Makajos.

Yesterday 01/10/16, Fred Makajos was in Kisumu rally addressing ODM delegates. In attendance was Hon. Raila Odinga, Hon. Hassan Joho, Hon. Baku Owino and other reputable persons.
