Two fishes were swimming when they saw a piece of meat dangling before them. The younger fish darted toward it with an open mouth. The older fish cried out, “Stop! You can’t see it, but there is a hook inside that meat. It is connected by an invisible line to a pole outside the water.

There is a man holding the pole. If you eat the meat, the hook will catch in your jaw and the man will pull you out of the water. He will cut you open with a knife, roast you on a fire and eat you. Then he will throw your remains to his cat.”

The young fish stopped. The two of them swam away. But when the young fish was alone, he thought to himself, “Let me investigate for myself how accurate these claims are”. He went back to the meat, swam around it, above and below it. He swam as far as he could in widening circles around the meat. After a long search, he said to himself, “I’ve looked far and wide, and I haven’t found any sign of a man, a pole, a knife, a fire or a cat. In fact, I’ve found no trace of anything outside this water we live in”. He went back to the meat and ate it.

The hook caught in his jaw, he felt himself being yanked out of the water. He saw a pole, a man and a knife, but at that point knowledge was useless!

MORAL OF THE STORY:

Just like the story of the fish, so is the message of the Bible. Some of it is beyond our comprehension. Though God has given us more than enough proof, most of us will realize its reality only when it is too late.

You can hardly beat EXPERIENCE. That is what maturity engenders. Knowledge is nothing without wisdom. And as the Bible had long reminded us, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Let us all take heed. It is not all that we see that tells us all about life. May God's mercies be upon us. Bless you

Akpos picked up a blackberry Z10 in a taxi.He checked through the contacts and found "MY

number 2" then he called it and luckily the owner answered "Wow! Thank God! Where did

you pick the phone" Akpos quickly interrupted "not so fast lady, please give me

your address." "You want to bring the phone? Wow that's so nice of you. If only this

country was full of good people like you..." Akpos interrupted "What nonsense are you

saying? I want to come and collect the charger!"

After Secondary School...

Some of our classmates have gone out of the country, some are now graduates, some have married, some have given birth, some are dead (don't forget that too), some haven't even gained admission into the tertiary institution.

You know that feeling when you meet your classmate, and it seems like he/she has reached his/her dreams and you're not yet close to yours?

Yea! Somehow, it feels like jealousy; it's a normal feeling. But, You must not regret your life.

We all are different and our paths to greatness are not same in distance. Some might get there before you, some might get there after you but,whatever level you are presently, please keep trying to break limitations and move further.Celebrate the success of others, it's an application for yours...

Your friend buys a car now, be happy with him/her... Remember when you get yours, theirs wouldn't be the latest again. Life is not by competition, if not, we all Will be born into one type of family, one religion and same everything.The passion in you, never quench. The desire in you, keep it burning.

What you pass through, write it down because one day the world would be ready to read it.

There's no height you cannot attain, just believe,define goals and recognise distractions, spend time teaching yourself; because the things that mainly take people to the top, are the things they devoted time to develop.Don't be intimidated by your friend's success, the sky is too wide that the birds can fly without touching themselves. I read this story & fell in love with it...

One night President Barack Obama & his wife Michelle Obama decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that isn't so luxurious.When they were seated,the owner of the restaurant asked the President's secret service if he could please speak to the first lady in private.

They obliged & Michelle had a conversation with the owner.Following the conversation,President Obama asked Michelle, "Why was he so interested in talking to you...?".

She mentioned that in her teenage years,he had been madly in love with her.

President Obama then said,"So if you had married him,you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant...?"

Michelle responded, "No,if I had married him,he would now be the President of the United States..."

Its hard to believe,but most times,its a woman who makes a man who he is...So for the single men who are still searching for a long-life partner,may God help you to find that help-mate who will turn you from a 'nobody' to a 'somebody'...
